What's a crunchy, naturally minded mama to do during the holidays?
OWN YOUR WEIRD.
I see you over there mama, packing your own healthy snacks for holiday travel…politely saying no at the family gathering to the food that makes you feel like sh*t.
💚You’re sneaking a peek at labels to see if any ingredients might be organic or gluten free.
💚You’re putting out granny’s toxic yankee candle and swapping it for your soy based non-toxic one.
💚You’re carrying home recycling because uncle Alvin doesn’t know an aluminum can from a plastic bag and throws them all in the garbage.
💚You’re busting out supplements, homeopathics, and essential oils to keep you feeling energized and well…sane.
Believe me, I know what it’s like to be “that” member of the family. And sometimes it can feel a little lonely.
But you already know that you living in alignment with your values of healthy living is so much more important than if anyone thinks you’re “weird.”
Oh, and next time someone calls you weird remember this… the Middle English origins of weird are actually this: “𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙮.”
So keep on mama. Keep sneaking greens powders in your drink when no one’s watching💚
Keep reading labels to *hopefully* find just one nontoxic lotion at your parents house.🤞
Keep bringing your own laundry detergent, spinach and avocados🥑
Because you are weird. And you are not alone. 🙌
You got this.
Tag your weird mama soul sister, let he know she’s not in this alone either.⬇️
